Twitch Livestream UE5 Asset Playtest
The Twitch Livestream served as a test for the Moonizen Skin in a controlled gaming environment.
Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) continues to reshape what independent creators can build, and Moonizen Studios has been pushing those limits live on stream. During our recent Twitch playtest, we showcased early movement, animation blending, and character stability using the Moonizen Skin prototype inside UE5. The goal was simple: stress-test the asset in a real gameplay environment and gather immediate community feedback.
The team meticulously prepared for this event, aiming to demonstrate the skin’s capabilities and its seamless integration with the Unreal Engine. One of the standout outcomes of the Twitch Livestream was the flawless performance of the Moonizen Skin. Throughout over 30 minutes of gameplay, the skin exhibited exceptional stability and versatility. It proved its mettle under real-world gaming conditions, much to the delight of the audience.
A First Look at the Moonizen Skin in UE5
The playtest focused on evaluating how the Moonizen character mesh behaves under real-time gameplay conditions. UE5’s Nanite rendering and advanced lighting give the model a crisp, detailed look even during fast movement. Animations held up well during sprinting, camera rotation tests, and quick direction shifts.
This stream also helped us evaluate how the character feels in an actual prototype game loop — something we’ll refine as we continue building more UE5-compatible Moonizen assets.

The Twitch Livestream event is just a teaser of what lies ahead. Viewers and enthusiasts can expect more exciting developments, innovations, and showcases from this dynamic studio in the near future. We’ll continue to use UE5 as our backbone for visual development, animation prototyping, and engine-ready assets that will eventually integrate into larger Moonizen Universe projects.
